Colchester report

A belated “Thank You” to the 5 pipers and 6 drummers who represented our band at the Full Band Competition at Broxbourne last Sunday. The drum corps gave a very impressive performance on it’s first competitive outing.

Thanks should also be extended to our Parent Support Group who make a really big difference with their attendance, good company - and cakes!

We need to have confirmation ASAP by email to Rod, of all members available (or not available) for a possible entry in the upcoming Colchester Band Competition on Sunday 15th June. The band would need at least 8 pipers, bass and 2 sides to be able to participate in an outside venue of this nature. We will be unable to enter if we have insufficient numbers.

Colchester is a really enjoyable, free day out, whether playing in the competitions, participating in the massed band or just enjoying the Highland Games atmosphere!
